Notes II is a general purpose web based notes editor. Everything is stored on your web server. This tool lets you create mono-space plain-text notes or rich-text HTML files. There's also a feature to create multi-level folders.<br />

I've created some function libraries that are included in the "lib" folder.<br />
In addition to this, you will need to <a href="http://ckeditor.com/">download the CKEditor library</a>. Then edit its location in the template file.
<br /><br />
Only the notes2.cgi file needs to be made executable by the linux/unix/bsd command chmod 755.<br />
The folder "files" needs to be writeable by the webserver. Either make it owned by the webserver user such as (as root): chown apache.apache files. Or as a regular user: chmod 1777 files.<br /><br />
